Linkin Park is one of 21st centuries most respected bands. With million dollar records sold, including a diamond disc in their debut Hybrid Theory, they’ll forever be remembered as an important rock gem and one of the most important bands to come out of the 2000-decade. Their lead singer, Chester Bennington, is today’s subject of Tattoo Tuesday.

Linkin Park is known to be one of the prominent bands of the 21st century.  With their debut album Hybrid Theory hitting diamond status selling over 12 million records since its release in 2000, they’ve made a name for themselves as one of the most important bands of the 2000-decade. They bridged the gap of Hip-Hop and Rock that Run-DMC and Aerosmith opened in the late 80s. One of the reasons for their success is the duo lead of Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington. Chester, who joined Linkin Park late, is known to have a tattoo masterpiece that is known throughout the rock community.

One of the first tattoos you’ll realize on Linkin Park’s lead singer is red and blue flame traveling from his wrist to his forearm. Both of Chester’s arms are tatted with these flames. His most prominent tattoo is an alien like back piece that takes over a majority of his back. He also has Linkin Park in the bottom of his back to complete the back piece.

Despite a full explanation for the initials on his chest, the tattoo that is surrounded with roses and floral designs supposedly represent close family members of his family. My personal favorite is the Koi fish that is tatted on his right arm, done in very vibrant colors, it’s a great match to his flame tattoo on his forearm and wrist.

Chester’s right hand arm is probably the most tatted on his body. He has a spider web and a skull with diamond eyes on his right elbow – to accompany the Koi fish. One of his elbows is also covered with several butterflies.
