CW’s Supernatural returns this Wednesday at 9:00pm with their eighth season.

Attention all you Supernatural fans: make sure you’re tuned this coming Wednesday at 9:00pm for the premiere of Season 8. Expect a lot of brotherly hate, at least in the beginning of this coming episode. Dean’s year in purgatory had him fighting unknown creatures. Sam, on the other hand, lived a more lowkey and quiet life. With that said, you can expect disagreements between the two. From the beginning of the episode tensions are set high. While Dean was in purgatory, Sam kept him and Dean’s promise just incase something like the conclusion of season 7 occurs. Sam didn’t search for Dean, and essentially left the responsibility of finding Dean to the other hunters.
The best a part about new seasons is the possibility of new characters. Dean gets close with his pal from Purgatory, Benny, and from was it seems Benny hanging around Dean will cause either problems or good later on. Despite Dean’s one year disappearance, things don’t fully change. Upon his return, he sends Sam through the wringer, which is a series of tests to ensure what he is dealing with is really Sam. Crowley is a lot more cockier, and his smirk is more annoying for some reason. I guess if you can get demons from a snap of a finger, you can do those things!

Kevin by the conclusion of season 7 was dragged away by Crowley. He was forced to read the Word of God for Crowley and his minions, and his smarts were getting used to do bidding.
Castiel is somewhat of a mystery in the beginning stages of Season 8. Sam asks Dean what happened to her in purgatory, but Dean doesn’t budge. Same assumes that Castiel is dead. , but we’ll never know!

Overall, the new season has some missing holes, but it’s assumed that those holes will be filled as the time goes on. Let us know what you think and Tweet Us!
