One of my favorite actors and fellow NJ natives is Peter Dinklage. He does amazing things on Game of Thrones and who could forget his awesome portrayal in Elf of Miles Finch, the biggest jerk of a children’s book author who ever lived. (“He’s an angry elf.” lol, can’t believe that movie is 10 years old.) Anyway, Mr. Dinklage will be in the new film, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Here’s the interesting part: Nobody knows who Dinklage is playing. In fact, imdb is toying with some emotions here because some of the cast members roles are listed as “rumored.” Halle Berry is only ‘rumored’ to reprise Storm and James Marsden, AKA one of the greatest loves of my life, is only ‘rumored’ to be playing Cyclops. I need facts, people!
Anyway, it seems confirmed that Patrick Stewart is coming back as Professor X. Any Star Trek fan would demand nothing less than a leadership role for that man. He could raise rebellions with that voice. Fact. The movie is going to be pretty clutch with Academy Award-winning actress, Jennifer Lawrence. The only problem with the whole situation is Sir Ian McKellen. Now, I know what you are thinking, what’s wrong with Sir Ian McKellen? Well, it turns out that the film is expected to hit theaters in July of 2014. Apparently, The Hobbit: There and Back Again is scheduled to open the same July weekend as X-Men: Days of Future Past. EMOTIONAL AND SCHEDULING CONFLICT! Luckily, we have over a year to figure out which one to see first.
Julia Cuozzo is a grad student at Pace University pursuing a Masters in Publishing. Though the future is uncertain, the one thing she knows is that in August 2013, she will be in Bunol, Spain, throwing tomatoes with some of the best tomato throwers in the world. She is also a huge fan of coffee and finds decaf to be an abomination.
