Michael Jackson left us a few years ago, but his music has not stopped flowing. Today’s Music Monday is dedicated to the original king of pop and the release of the reissued Bad that will come out tomorrow, September 18th.
Twenty-five years ago Bad came out for the first time and brought us songs like ”Bad,” “Dirty Diana,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Man in the Mirror,” and I’d keep going but I would just end up listing the entire track list because almost every song on this album was a hit for Michael.
The original album came out on August 31, 1987 and became the fifth best selling album of all time after selling 30 to 45 million copies worldwide. The special edition reissue will include unreleased demo recordings and a live CD and DVD of Jackson’s performance at Wembly Stadium during his Bad world tour.
Singles off the reissue will be “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” which was the original debut single off Bad, “Don’t Be Messin’ Round,” and Bad (Afrojack Remix)(DJ Buddha Edit) featuring Pitbull.
