Music Monday: Big Z!NG Wins at AMAs!

Today’s Music Monday highlights the 40th Annual American Music Awards that aired last night. This year’s winners included many Z!NG artists, we’re couldn’t be more proud! This year’s AMAs promised to be a good one, and they did not disappoint!

Our main boy, Justin Bieber, won almost every category he was nominated for! My homeland cutie won the awards Favorite Pop/Rock Album, Favorite Male Pop/Rock Artist, and Artist of the Year, which he dragged his mama on stage for! We also heard that he took Selena to the AMA after party, the return of “Jelena,” anyone?

Maroon 5 won Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo or Group after performing on Saturday Night Live this week. Our country princess, Taylor Swift (who is apparently dating Mr. Harry Styles? ), took the award for Favorite Female Country Artist. The final Z!NG artist to win an award was Linkin Park, who won Favorite Alternative Rock Artist. This is the fifth time that the band has won this award!

The show had amazing performances by The Voice judge and diva, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Kelly Clarkson, Swizz Beatz who featured Chris Brown and Ludacris, Carrie Underwood, P!nk, and Pitbull. Other performances were from my British babes of The Wanted; my girl Carly Rae Jepsen (who I am so proud of since she’s been a name here in Canada for like 3 years!); the sparkly Ke$ha; Nicki Minaj, who also performed with Justin; the Korean sensation known as PSY; Linkin Park; and TSwizzle. Catch JBiebs grinding it out with Nicki here:

Other Z!NG artists who were nominated but failed to come home with awards were my babies in One Direction, but I’m sure they aren’t too hurt since their album is still topping the charts.

What did you guys think of the AMA’s? Like it, hate it? Tweet us or comment on Facebook to let us know! And obviously click the links throughout this post to check out our artists!
