Muse is coming to NYC!

The English band that brought you hits such as, “Uprising”, “Supermassive Black Hole”, “Hysteria”  and the most recent “Madness” on The 2nd Law album is returning to perform live in the “World’s Most Famous Arena”, Madison Square Garden.

Muse is coming to New York City for their new North American Tour starting in late January  of next year! Guitarist/Vocalist Matthew Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme, and drummer Dominic Howard will be performing again at Madison Square Garden. Their last performance was about two years ago in 2010 when they were performing songs from their 5th album, “The Resistance.” Tickets for their upcoming North American Tour were released by Live Nation on October 12th at 9am, and they even added a second show at Madison Square Garden due to the overwhelming popularity from New York based fans.

The band released their 6th album in September called The 2nd Law. My favorite singles on this album would have to be “Supremacy”, “Big Freeze” and “Madness.” It gives that familiarity of what the band is all about, which is their fusion of progressive rock and electronica with just a bit of Radiohead-influenced sound.

Fans of Muse should be excited for this show, despite of the long wait for their April 2013 performance, they know how to keep the crowd excited and entertained with their LED lighting and funky/rock tunes echoing throughout Madison Square Garden.

This will be an amazing show for all Muse fans! And if you’re not familiar to Muse’s music, related artists include Radiohead, Queen, Nirvana, and Coldplay.  I recommend to listen to their album, Black Holes and Revelations in order to get an idea how Muse’s music is the way it is today. Jumping to their latest album will not give new fans an idea of Muse’s experimental tunes. But if you absolutely cannot wait to figure out why Muse is an amazing progressive rock band, just listen to their single, “Uprising” and I’m sure a lot of you will want to hear that live and with thousands of fans rocking out in their show!
