I’m not sure if I should be proud of saying this, but I was the ultimate gym class hero. I took everything seriously from kickball to badminton. In sixth grade, I accidentally ran a girl over trying to catch a fly ball in kickball, she ended up in the hospital with a strained back. Yeah, I was serious. My Popular Culture and Social Change class today revolved around subcultures and countercultures. Anyway, at one point my professor went on a 10-minute rant on how she recently saw Iggy Pop, a true synonym to the word counterculture, in a cruise campaign commercial. I should bring her an Iggy Pop & The Stooges skin, might get an A out of it! What do you guys think?
